The Batchewana Train Station Camp. Located
adjacent to the Algoma Central Railway,
approximately 70 miles north of Sault Saint
Marie, "The Batch" is also accessible from
Highway 17, via mile 38 road. This camp sits on
a lot that is on an annual lease from the CN
railway. The Batch is located on the Batchewana
River and is surrounded by many lakes which
provide great fishing opportunities in both
winter and summer. Bear, Moose, and Grouse are
also prevalent in the surrounding forests. Other
activities include ATVing, snowmobiling,
snowshoeing, as well as, rock & ice climbing.
This camp has running water all seasons, via a
mountain cistern. Additionally, the kitchen and
bathroom include indoor plumbing, with complete
washroom facilities, although, these are
reserved for our summer guests. Other features
